Carmen Miranda
My all time favorite is my Carmen Miranda bracelet. It took a year to find the beads I was looking for and I think it was worth the wait. Thankfully my other projects are completed much faster!My new project

Simply strung creations
I like using a variety of beads, colors, and textures in my beaded projects. Unlike some beaders, I'm not afraid to mix stones with glass. I feel this gives the artist more options. Some of my projects are symmetrical, but often times are not. It really depends on the look I am aiming for.
Woven art
Five years ago, I never would have thought I would enjoy bead weaving. Then I was introduced to it. Since then, a whole new world of art has opened up to me. I thought it was time to start a blog where I can simply focus my attention to the arts. As many of you know, I have a passion for beading and have dabbled in just about every craft out there. My hope is that this serves as a diary of my art and an inspiration for artists out there. Enjoy!
